Tuesday – MAF Bike Trainer

Late night ride. 50 min sweet spot over under. But today’s trainer ride was surprising. It was hard to get my HR up to 130 in the beginning. To get the the HR up, shifted the over-under to 180-170. Only until the fourth over did the HR go over 130 to 140 and I had to power down to maintain HR below 140. 

It is also getting difficult to pedal up the watts now. 

So what did I do today? Add healthfully for lunch with minimal starchy carbs. But afternoon snack just felt like eating bread and Nutella. Insulin sleepiness induced a nap. Dinner had rice. Or was it the week with minimal workouts? Or my body already adapting to MAF?

I’ll just have to see how other MAF workouts turn out sfter today. 

Focused on glutes for pedal power. But a lot of the burn are in my hip flexors.
