Thursday – Fasted MAF Run

In Singapore today. Ran around Marina Bay twice. Glanced at the pace in the beginning and was happy to find my pace drop below 6:00min/km. But my pace quickly increased shortly after started and slowed to a crawl by halfway. 

Moving from a walk to a run rockets my HR from 130 to above 140 after the halfway point. Should I stop or continue as long as possible at MAF to give myself more stress for my body to adapt to? The drop is so abrupt. Stop because there is no use continuing because I’m going so slow or continue in MAF even if I’m shuffling along to give my body more stress?
