Sunday – MAF Run

Cold. Really cold. Well, not that cold, but significantly colder than what I’m used to. But I know from experience that cold will keep my HR down, and boy, it did.

Average pace at 6:17min/km, which is about 45 seconds faster than back at home. And this is a fasted run as well.

Took the time to warm up and gradually increase my HR up to MAF.

The run was amazing. Pagodas left and right, peaking out of the countryside everywhere I look. A  bit dusty, but took it in stride and enjoyed the run. Good scenery, low HR, and a fast pace makes for a wonderful MAF run.

Started the tour day with morning sunrise at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Carried Alix up steep steps. Though the effort was tough, it wasn’t long enough to give me enough stimulation or stress. I was fine after climbing up and down with 100kg of weight.
