Friday – MAF Run

Thursday – No Workout
Ideally would have done something, but circumstances didn’t allow it. Only had 6 hours of sleep in the last 48. Though over-caffeinated and didnt feel that bad and surprisingly felt good enough and motivated to go for a little light run, I erred on safety and went to bed instead.
Wednesday – No Workout
There will be days like this: an all day meeting with a flight at the end. So no workout today. But it’s fine — gotta let my legs recover a bit.

Thursday – Bike MAF Test
Establishing baseline. 1 hour on bike trainer with my triathlon bike. Average HR: 137. Average Power: 151W The test was harder than expected. Maintaining watts at 135-140 bpm constantly, without any coasting to rest, is hard! Ground through the test, got my baseline, and sore hip flexors to boot.
